John has been in Estate Agency over thirty years, In that time, John has overseen and been involved with the day-to-day running of over forty/offices in the East Anglian/London region. During his career, John has experienced numerous market conditions and has acquired excellent business acumen to ensure Palmer & Partners is one of the leading agents in your area. Debbie is the Financial Director for Palmer & Partners ensuring the smooth running of the business as a whole. Debbie has always been involved in the property business and has wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the industry. Debbie has lived in Colchester for all of her life, she has three children, one of whom, Charlotte, now assists her in the day-to-day running of the accounts with in our lettings and management department.

Paul Devereux Partner

Paul joined the company in 2004 and with his infectious enthusiasm, he has successfully taken the office to become one of the market leaders in Colchester. He has been an estate agent all of his working life and enjoys the business immensely. Now responsible for a successful sales and administration team, Paul relishes the challenges his role brings, but most of all he enjoys the contact he has with the numerous clients he has dealt with over the years. He lives locally with his wife and two children.

Paul Sims

Paul Sims Associate Partner

After completing his A levels at Colchester's sixth form college, Paul began his career in Estate Agency with a local independent agent in 2002 completing an NVQ in the process, before joining Palmer & Partners shortly after we opened in 2004. Working as a sales negotiator, Paul got a really good grasp of the industry first hand and went on to gain experience within the Lettings sector in 2007 operating from our busy Ipswich branch. A year later he returned to Colchester as our branch valuer and has gained a vast amount of experience at valuing and preparing properties for marketing over the past 8 years. In December 2016 Paul was promoted to Associate Partner and continues to perform the role to the highest standard and leads a proactive appraisals team. Paul is both professional and driven and resides within Colchester with his wife and daughter and will offer a great first impression of Palmer & Partners when asked to value your home.

Toby Spencer-Campbell

Toby Spencer-Campbell Sales Negotiator

Toby is a hugely experienced agent having worked for one of the county's leading independent estate agents since 2004. He has experienced all types of market conditions and has knowledge in every aspect of the business. Toby has held management roles with his previous company which have included both the opening of a cold start branch in addition to the acquisition of another business. Alex started on an apprenticeship with Palmer and Partners whilst progressing from strength to strength. Educated locally, Alex really has got a good grasp of the local property market. You will find him both motivated and helpful with his expert local knowledge of the town and marketplace.

Tyler started in estate agency in 2011, predominantly working for local independent companies and joined Palmer & Partners in 2016. He has gained some essential experience and knowledge of the local market, ensuring that he provides many strengths to the company. Tyler has a genuine and ardent desire to help clients move, which comes across clearly to everyone he meets. He prides himself on the presentation of properties and has a wealth of experience valuing properties in the area.

Hayley Trustrum

Hayley Trustrum Sales Coordinator

Being a local Colcestrian, Hayley now works locally to spend more time raising her young family with her husband. She has an extensive knowledge of the conveyancing process and her job is to guide you through the process once sales are agreed, making sure the transaction is as smooth as possible. Hayley is here to give you weekly updates on the progress of your sale so that you are fully informed every step of the way.

Alfie Foster

Alfie Foster Trainee Negotiator

Alfie joined Palmer and Partners almost immediately after finishing his A levels, due to completing work experience with us in the Summer last year. He received 3 A levels of a good standard and a diploma in economics. Alfie is now currently studying a level 2 apprenticeship in sales and has already proven his excellent customer service skills. He assists with the day-to-day viewings for the sales team and other general tasks. Alfie has lived in Colchester all his life, making him very knowledgeable on the area.

Sophie Whitcomb

Sophie Whitcomb Sales Administrator

Sophie joined Palmer and Partners after finishing her college education in 2013 and recently completed an advanced level 3 NVQ apprenticeship in Business Administration. She always has an open and positive attitude to the business and is keen to ensure that the sales staff are well supported. Sophie lives with her family in Colchester where she has resided for most of her life.

Gabriella joined Palmer and Partners with previous experience within the industry and has a high attention to detail. She is always willing to help and ensures that the best level of customer service is provided. She has an excellent knowledge of Colchester and surrounding areas.

Adrian Hibble

Adrian Hibble Mortgage Advisor

Adrian has recently joined the Colchester office having previously worked for an IFA in Bury St Edmunds. He is experienced and confident in dealing with all types of mortgage enquiries and has an infectious enthusiasm. He prides himself on delivering unrivalled levels of customer service and is always willing to go the extra mile. Adrian lives in a village close to Sudbury with his wife and daughter.

Jon Gallop was born and bred in Colchester and knows the area very well. Having worked within the Lettings industry for over a decade, with a large amount of that time being spent in the hustle and bustle of Central London, Jon brings a wealth of experience to our team and clients whilst priding himself on being able to tailor his approach to your specific requirements. He has worked within aspects of residential lettings and can help ensure you consistently achieve the highest return for your investments. Jon lives on the outskirts of Colchester with his wife and son. Jon has also completed the NFOPP technical award for Residential Letting & Property Management.

Charlotte has worked within the lettings industry for many years and has lived locally her whole life. Charlotte is well organized and diligent and having completed her degree in Accounting, is the ideal person to look after the accounts department. She oversees all banking, rental payments and can quickly and easily assist any landlord or tenant with an accounts or statement enquiry.

Becky Wyatt

Becky Wyatt Accounts & Credit Control

Becky's friendly manner, efficiency and excellent work ethic makes her the ideal team member to assist in the running of our accounts department. She is responsible for managing the accounts, reconciling and checking all transactions and ensuring that our landlords are paid their rent as quickly as possible. She also deals with any credit control issues and late rental payments and can offer expert advice and help should any tenant's find themselves in financial difficulty. Her knowledge, hardworking nature and high attention to detail are indispensable to the team.
