Background Bob

We are extremely excited to share with you our 500 Club Christmas cards, which have been designed by local artists in collaboration with Background Bob. If you are not already aware of Background Bob - @background_bob - Noah is a 14 year old and has hydrocephalus, epilepsy and cerebral palsy, who despite this loves to paint. During lockdown he started a project with his dad sending ‘backgrounds’ to artists to collaborate with him – and the 500 Club are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Noah.

Raising Funds

Background Bob has raised over £160,000 for Colchester and Ipswich Hospital Childrens wards via his amazing collaborations with over 700 worldwide. At the request of Noah and his family ALL proceeds from purchases (Palmer & Partners are covering all production costs) will go to a local charity Wipe Away Those Tears which aims to bring a bit of sparkle to terminally ill children
