• Clean thoroughly — especially glass, mirrors, kitchen counters
• Fix small issues — like crooked blinds or blown light bulbs

2. Room-by-Room Checklist

Living Room

• Straighten cushions and throws
• Tuck away remotes and cables
• Remove children’s toys or pet items

Kitchen

• Clear worktops, hide kettles/toasters
• Remove fridge magnets and notes
• Hide bins and washing up
• Add a fruit bowl or small plant

Dining Room

• Set the table or leave it clean
• Align chairs neatly
• Optional centrepiece (e.g., flowers)

Bedrooms

• Make beds with fresh bedding
• Hide clothes, shoes, laundry baskets
• Clear bedside tables

Bathrooms

• Put toilet lids down

3. Exterior

• Move cars off the driveway
