The 500 Club is pleased to let you know our February donation went to the Little Princess Trust.Little Princess Trust
Tigan, who lives in Clacton, decided she wanted to raise money for Little Princess Trust.The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK. The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
10 year old Tigan and her family were over the moon to hear from the 500 Club. She had really long hair and wasn't sure about having it cut shorter. They started researching a charity which could benefit and found the Little Princess Trust.
Tigan had 11 inches cut, and the money raised will make such a huge difference those who will benefit so much from having wigs made. Tigan has a real passion for raising money, and is continuing to do so. She is a real inspiration at such a young age.
She has posted on the Just Giving page and said 'Thank you so much for all the sponsors! I did it! I had 11 INCHES cut off and the money raised is enough to provide a whole wig of my hair for someone in need of it and we raised even more so I really feel I have made a big difference. Giving is such a great feeling and makes me sooooo happy! I’ve added some pictures for you! Including a silly one of my brother lol Love you all - Tiggles xxxx'

*500 Easter Eggs*
The 500 Club would like to invite you to nominate any local causes, charities, community centres and shelters to receive a gift of Easter Eggs from the 500 Club!Please get in contact to let them know who you would like to receive some and help brighten their Easter with some chocolate. Please feel free to spread the word via social media, email or word of mouth. It would be lovely to reach as many as possible as we know there are some fantastic causes we would love the opportunity to support.
The Committee are excited to donate these eggs locally, and will be updating everyone on who received them, details about them and any other ways we can all help.

The 500 Club's next event
The 500 Club's committee are hard working on their Fancy Dress Charity Darts Tournament on Thursday 9th May! All the proceeds will be going to Candles - a parent led group for families with Down Syndrome which offer sessions, activities, and lifelong friendships for children in safe play spaces. They support families in Colchester, Tendring, Babergh, Maldon, and Braintree districts.
